The Land Of The Free Was Established By GOD
It was clear at the beginning that the land of the free established a solid relationship with God above and a bedrock reliance on His churchmen.
“And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm Reliance on the Protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor” – Declaration of Independence
We believe the written Word of God is thoroughly accurate. This is the guide to bring any nation into resemblance of the Promise Land. This is a land filled with milk and honey, a land of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. We also believe that the Red, White, and Blue has been in decline and away from its roots for decades – if not longer. Today, the decline has turned into an avalanche.
Some of the very transgressions of tyranny committed by King George III, have been committed by our own government:
“…has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance.”
“…burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.”
“…has excited domestic insurrections amongst us…”
“…depriving us [in many cases] of the benefit of trial by jury.”
Is it not the responsibility of churchmen to work to rectify these and other ills that have infected our union?
Men of God came beside kings and leaders to encourage them to righteousness according to holy scripture.
“Separation of church and state,” has promoted a skewed understanding of the roles of these two God ordained institutions.
Government was to abstain from involvement in church, but churchmen were highly encouraged to inject a righteous servanthood model within the republic.
“For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil…do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid.”
– The Apostle Paul
“That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute a new government.”
– Declaration of Independence
“A republic if you can keep it.” – Ben Franklin
A sense of right and wrong must remain a part of freedom and liberty.
Sincerely, One of His Footmen
